LIV Church exists to help people experience the abundant life Jesus promised: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10). We believe that true transformation happens when faith and everyday life intersect.

Who We Are

• LIV Church: A fresh, Spirit-led Christian community dedicated to reaching people where they are and walking with them towards a life fully alive in Christ. We gather for worship, discipleship, and serving our neighborhoods.

• LIV Martial Arts: A family-friendly karate studio providing high-quality martial arts training taught by experienced Christian instructors. We focus on discipline, respect, and integrity, helping students of all ages grow in confidence and purpose.

Why This Model?

Many families are looking for safe, wholesome activities for their children and themselves—but are not yet ready to walk through the doors of a church. LIV Martial Arts provides a natural point of connection, where relationships and trust are built. Through classes, tournaments, family events, and faith-based character talks, students and families are gently introduced to the heart and mission of LIV Church.

Our Mission Goals

1. Plant a vibrant local church in San Diego, welcoming all people to experience authentic worship, Biblical teaching, and loving community.

2. Operate a professional Christian karate studio, providing excellent martial arts instruction while modeling Christian values in every interaction.

3. Host community events, such as self-defense seminars, family fun days, and service projects, which deepen relationships and open doors to spiritual conversations.

4. Develop young leaders, both on the mat and in the church, equipping them to make a difference in San Diego and beyond.
